We only process data that we need for (improving) our services and carefully handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Indy lashes. The starting date for the validity of these conditions is 25/11/2022, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what information about you is collected by us, what this information is used for and with whom and under what conditions this information may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store the data, how we protect it against misuse and what rights you have with regard to the personal data you provide.

Online store software

Shopify
Our webshop has been developed with software from Shopify. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent through Shopify 's servers. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of our services will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to the data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use this data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have concluded with them, Shopify is obliged to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group in order to further improve the service.

Web hosting

Hostnet
We purchase web hosting and e-mail services from Hostnet. Hostnet processes personal data on our behalf and does not use this data for its own purposes. However, this party can collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Hostnet has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Hostnet is obliged to observe secrecy on the basis of the agreement.

Email and mailing lists

Mailchimp
Our website uses Mailchimp, a third party that handles the sending of newsletters. Mailchimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every e-mail sent automatically via our website is the 'unsubscribe' link. If you click on this you will no longer receive e-mail from our website. Your personal data is stored securely by Maichimp. Mailchimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. Mailchimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share information with third parties in this context.

Hostnet
We use the services of Hostnet for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Hostnet has no access to our mailbox and we treat all our e-mail traffic confidentially.

payment processors

Shopify payments
We use Shopify payments to handle (part of) the payments in our webshop. Shopify payments processes your name, address and residence details, as well as payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Shopify payments has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect this personal data. Shopify payments reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share (anonymised) data with third parties only in that context. All the above-mentioned guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Shopify payments 's services for which they engage third parties. Shopify payments does not store data longer than permitted by law.

Shipping and logistics

MyParcel

If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to your home. We use the services of MyParcel to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence details with MyParcel. MyParcel only uses this data for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that MyParcel engages subcontractors, MyParcel will also make your data available to these parties.

General purpose of the processing

We only use your data for our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use data for (targeted) marketing.
